Job Title: Chief Data Officer & Senior Executive, Specialist Services
John Wallace is responsible for establishing and leading ASIC’s Chief Data Office. He also heads a national team providing specialist computer forensics and evidence management, forensic accounting knowledge management and business reporting all of which are key to ASIC’s surveillance and enforcement functions. His previous role in ASIC was Assistant Director, Enforcement overseeing investigation teams in the Melbourne and Hobart offices.
John holds an MBA and has an extensive background within law enforcement and the health sector. Prior to joining ASIC, John held a number senior roles in Victoria Police in the areas of corporate services and forensic services.
